"I Voted" sticker contest

Why do you vote?

Selecting our elected officials is nice. Adding our voice to decisions like whether equal rights (including reproductive rights) should be included in the NY Constitution is satisfying. But SOME OF US get excited because we love that "I Voted" sticker you can rock the rest of the day, promoting democracy wherever you go.

What if "I Voted" stickers were more eye-catching and memorable?
The regular ones are fine, but we'd like to add some style to your sticker. The LWV is sponsoring a sticker contest this year and there are prizes!

Contest Rules

WHO: Any resident of Monroe County can participate.

I. VotedWHAT: Design a logo that we will use to create “I Voted” stickers and digital graphics that can be used for sharing for the November 5, 2024 General Election.  "I Voted" must appear in the design, but the rest is up to you. The stickers will be printed as 2 inch circles. We'll also be using them on Facebook and Instagram. If you use graphic software to make your design, we will appreciate receiving the original file from the winner, but submissions may be in any format listed below.

WHEN: Artwork will be collected until September 22.  The  League of Women Voters will select the top designs and then – of course – we open the contest up to voting on the top designs on our website. Contestants should plan on encouraging their friends and family to vote!  The winning artwork will be selected using Ranked Choice Voting from the top vote-getters and announced on October 8, 2024.  Stickers will be distributed during early voting for the November 5th General Election.

HOW: Send your artwork – Photo, PDF, PNG, GIF or JPEG to stickers@lwv-rma.org
