The Legislature held its Organizational meeting. Democrat Sabrina Lamar reached an agreement with Republicans assuring her selection as President of the Legislature. This agreement allowed Republicans to pick the majority leader despite being outnumbered 15-14 in party enrollment of the legislators.Observed by Elaine Schmidt
