PROCLAMATIONS
Livie's Jamaican Restaurant was honored for their food, Family Fun
Days and support of the general and Caribbean communities.
Pops Style International Restaurant was honored for their food, free
warm meals, donation of school supplies and scholarship money.
Don Alhart was honored for his 58 years as news anchor at WHAM and
community leadership.
PUBLIC FORUM
A citizen asked for help to expand the Animal Services Shelter and for
the development of low cost spay and neuter services.
RESOLUTIONS
A public hearing was set for July 9, 2024 regarding the Capital
Improvement Budget for 2024-2025.
The agenda was moved as a whole except for 7 items.
The County Executive was authorized to execute a contract with Cure
Global Violence to provide consultation services to the Monroe County
Health Department in an amount not to exceed $35000.
The issuance of $4,000,000 in bonds was authorized to finance the cost
of reconstruction of the Civic Center Complex.
