PROCLAMATIONS
Domingo Garcia was recognized by the Leg for his many years of service to the Latin Community. He was a co-founder of the Ibero American American Action League and served as director for many years. He later served as the head of the National Puerto Rican Coalition in Washington D.C.
Trillium Health was recognized for their service to those with HIV and the LGBT+ community in the Rochester area.
James Worth of Gates, a former fire chief and longtime firefighter was recognized for his many years of service.
Lou Graham, lead singer for Foreigner was recognized for his many musical accomplishments and his induction to the Music Hall of Fame.
PUBLIC HEARING ON CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET
Kevin Lockhart was the sole speaker at the public hearing. He accused the administration of corruption and other things. Since his angry remarks were not directed to the subject of the hearing he was asked to leave and was escorted from the proceedings by law officers.
PUBLIC FORUM
Many citizens spoke about the need for more housing and the number of homeless people in the County.
One person requested the establishment of Medical lRespite Care.
RESOLUTIONS
The Capital Improvement Budget was passed unanimously.
$2,700,000 in bonds was authorized to finance the Monroe Community College Optics Micro-credential Laboratory.
